Visitor Guidance to Abigail Best Electrolysis
Welcome
to Abigail Best Electrolysis.
Illness If you have any of the main symptoms or a positive test result for Covid please get in touch and we can re-arrange your booking.
If you are ill in any way you will need to reschedule your appointment.
Masks I You are not required to wear a mask however, if you prefer to then
please do.
I am still
actively trying to minimise the risk of spreading infection to myself and
other clients and all clients can play their part in helping too.
As a self-employed one-man band, I can not afford to be ill and take time off and as I
mainly work in the high-risk zone, the facial area, I will continue to wear a
mask to minimise the risk of picking up coughs and colds etc so I can continue
to offer you your treatments with minimal interruption.
Hand Sanitiser.
I am continuing to offer hand sanitiser on arrival for your booking
Salon Address / Directions 55 High Street, Yelling, PE196SB.
Entrance to
the house is off Ashcroft.
The turning
to Ashcroft is right by the only speed bump in Yelling.
You will see
a big wooden fence and an even bigger willow tree.
Coming from
Paxton Hill/ Toseland the turning to Ashcroft is on your left.
Coming from
Papworth direction heading toward Toseland, Ashcroft is on your right.
Once you
have turned into Ashcroft the driveway is the first on your right.
Please pull
up onto the drive and park behind the car in front of the garage
Do not park
on the road. It is a narrow street and I don’t want to upset the neighbours unless the driveway is full.
Booking and Paying for a Consultation
Appointments
can be booked via phone, text, email, whats App or facebook messenger.
Payment for consultations must be
made within 24 hours of booking to confirm your appointment slot. If
you have not paid within 24 hours your appointment will be cancelled.
This payment is non-refundable if you cancel within 48 hours of your appointment.
If you wish to rebook you will be
required to pay again.
Last-minute cancellations aren’t easy to refill and have a
financial impact that I can not afford to absorb any longer.
By prior arrangement, card payments, Cash or cheque can be
used on the day.
If paying by cash you must have the exact amount as I may
not have changed but credit can be given to further treatment.
Please note there is a 1.69% charge for credit and debit
card facilities.
Booking and Paying for ongoing treatment.
Appointments can be booked via phone, text, email, WhatsApp or Face book messenger.
Payment by cash transfer 24 hours before your appointment is
required.
By prior arrangement, card payments, Cash or cheque can be
used on the day. Please note I may not have change, but credit can be given to
further treatment.
Please note there is a 1.69% charge for credit and debit
card facilities.
Missed appointments and cancellations within 24 hours of
your treatment slot will be charged for in full. If you are on a course of
treatment you will lose the relevant treatment off your course.
Arriving for your appointment / what to bring with you. Arrive
5 minutes before your appointment.
Stay in your car and phone Abigail on 07929 918 965 to confirm your arrival.
If I don’t answer your call or message straight away, please stay in your vehicle and I will contact you as soon as I can to let you know I am ready.
Feel free to bring a bottle of water or drink with you.
Water can be provided in paper cups if necessary.
Umbrellas need to be left outside the premises on the porch.
No food is allowed on the premises. If you have specific
requirements, please contact me before your appointment.
This is a smoking and vaping-free premises.
Any items of value left in your
vehicle are done so at your own risk.
You
leave your vehicle at your own risk

Best Electrolysis is not responsible for any damage to or loss of property
whilst attending your appointment.
Entering the salon
when invited to do so, walk through the black metal side
gate and wooden gate into the back garden found just off the cobble pathway
Follow the path to the Cabin where I will greet you.
Please close both gates behind you. You may need to lift the
wooden gate slightly to latch it.
I will continue to provide
hand sanitiser which you are required to use.
If you have a raised temperature, 38 degrees Celsius or
above, or any Covid-19 symptoms, or you are unwell generally your appointment
will be rescheduled once you confirm you are feeling well.
Only the Client is allowed onto the
premises unless a chaperone is required. Anyone else will need to remain
in the vehicle.
I cannot accept
children onto the premises unless they are the client.
Appointments
will be kept to the time stated at booking.
If you are
late, I will try to accommodate your appointment, but I will not be able to run
past your allotted time out of respect for the next appointment.
Please accept my apologies if I am running late due to
unforeseen circumstances. I will endeavour to contact you to let you know.
If I am running late, I may not be able to offer you the
full treatment but I can either offer a shortened treatment or we can
reschedule to a more convenient time for you and you will not be charged for
the missed part of your appointment.
If the salon has to be closed at short notice I will get in
touch as soon as I can to let you know and to re-arrange your booking.
Salon Facilities There are officially no toilet
facilities available, however I do appreciate there may be occasions when it is
necessary for clients to have access to facilities. Let me know and they will
be gladly made available.

Cancelling or Missing an Appointment.
I know you will understand the impact that a missed or cancelled
appointment has, especially with the increase in personal and business costs.
I will always try to reschedule your
appointment and appreciate the majority of clients wouldn’t cancel or miss an
appointment without good reason.
Call and
let me know what has happened even if you simply forgot. This allows me to
offer my time to another client where possible or to use the time left
productively.
A missed or
cancelled appointment within 24 hours of your treatment slot will be charged
for in full, although I will endeavour to fill that slot if I can and take this into
consideration.
If you are
on a course you will lose that treatment.
This is not
something I take lightly and I don’t want to have to do this but the number of
missed appointments without notice is rising and my costs are going up
considerably.
What
I will do
I will
continue to wear a face covering.
I will
continue to use hand sanitizer.
Fresh PPE
will continue to be used for each client.
I always
try to run to time.
If I am
late and you are unable to stay for your full appointment you will be given
treatment credit for the amount of time you have missed.
