Welcome Letter and Guidance September 2020
I am delighted to let you know that I am reopening on 7th September 2020. In order to identify all safety concerns and implement sufficient health and safety measures, I have completed an extensive risk assessment. Based on this evaluation I have introduced some changes and additions to any previous processes and protocols. It is imperative for the safety of all that both myself and my clients support and adhere to these requirements.
Social Distancing, We must maintain a 2 meter social distance where possible. Sadly, no hugs or handshakes allowed but rest assured I am smiling under the mask and looking forward to welcoming you into the salon.

Arriving on The Day of your Appointment Only the Client is allowed onto the premises unless a chaperone is required. Anyone else will need to remain in the vehicle you came in. I cannot accept children on to the premises unless they are the client.
Please arrive no later than 5 minutes prior to your appointment. Drive strait onto the driveway and reverse out at the end of your appointment. Stay in your car and phone me on 07929 918 965 and let me know you have arrived. Please be aware of other residents and passers-by when leaving your vehicle to maintain 2-meter social distancing. If you are in Great Paxton and walking to the salon contact me when you arrive. And stand on the drive way.
Entering the salon when invited to do so, please walk through the side gate to your right and walk to the back of the house past the patio doors to allow them to be opened safely. I will open the patio door and greet you. I will invite you to have your temperature taken prior to you entering the premises. If you have a raised temperature over 37.8 degree Celsius or any Covid-19 symptoms, your appointment will be rescheduled for 14 days’ time in line with government guidelines and Public Health England advice. We can re book your appointment via text, email, social media, or phone. Rest assured I will take my temperature daily and will inform you if for any reason I need to reschedule your appointment.
If your temperature is normal you will be invited to step inside once you have sanitised your hands and applied your mask.
Please use the hand sanitizer on the table next to the door and then apply your face mask. If you have requested a mask, please pick up and apply the mask that is on the table after using hand sanitiser). I will already be wearing my face mask and visor. Although I will look different I would like to re assure you that underneath it all I am so pleased to be welcoming you into my salon and you will receive the same level of care and attention and compassion as always.
Please walk into the salon where you will be advised what to do next.
Your Appointment Appointments will be kept to the time stated at booking to ensure compliance with government guidelines. If you are late, I will try to accommodate your appointment, but I will not be able to run past your appointment slot due to increased cleaning requirements and out of respect for the next appointment. This will sadly mean there isn’t much time to chat before or after your appointment although I have left enough time between clients for a quick catch up.
Cancelling or Missing an appointment. I am currently unable to treat my usual number of clients during a working day. I know that as my client you will totally understand the impact that a missed or cancelled appointment will have. I will always try my best to reschedule your appointment and appreciate that, the majority of my clients wouldn’t cancel or miss an appointment without good reason. Give me a call and let me know what has happened even if you simply forgot. Keeping me informed allows me the opportunity to offer my time to another client where possible or to use the time left productively. A missed or cancelled appointment for whatever reason will not be charged for.
And Finally The guidelines I have put in place are out of genuine concern not just for my safety but for yours and all my clients so that I can continue to offer treatments as safely as possible whilst minimizing any health risks and the very real risk of not just me having to shut my doors but the industry as a whole. With this in mind, I ask you for your patience and understanding so that I can welcome you back with open arms, a virtual hug and a big smile. I have missed you and I am looking forward to seeing you all again.
